Calibration ----------- .. image:: ../images/settings-calibration.png Calibration is the procedure whereby SMARWI measures and saves the important positions during movement at your window. The movement is divided into two phases: Frame Phase and Ventilation Phase, see figure below. .. image:: ../images/phases.png .. note:: For proper operation of the device, calibration must always be done after window installation and repeatedly if window geometry changes (for example, when geometry changes significantly due to summer / winter temperatures, addition of additional window insulation, or if for some reason the last calibration does not suit ) Calibration consists of four steps you will through the calibration procedure as shown on your device screen: - Fixing the window position close to the frame - Distance measurement "Frame Phase" - Move the window to the position of the maximum required opening (if you need the window to open less than the maximum possible tilt, it can be set in this step) - Distance measurement "Ventilation Phase"
