Finetune -------- .. image:: ../images/settings-finetune.png Each window is unique due to its age, type, maintenance, amount of usege or optional insulation. Additionally, window geometry varies with temperature during each year. Thanks to the Finetune settings, you can fine tune SMARWI functionality to your particular window. Movement speed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setting the speed at which SMARWI will move during Window Phase, see the Phase Split Figure in the Calibration section. Speed can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum speed. .. note:: Higher speed reduces engine thrust efficiency, so for higher speeds, it is recommended to set higher engine power at the same time using the "Movement power" Near frame speed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setting the speed at which SMARWI will move your window during Frame Phase, see the Phase Split Figure in the Calibration section. Speed can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum speed. .. note:: Higher speed reduces engine thrust efficiency, so it is recommended to set higher engine speeds at the same time with the "Near frame power" parameter. Movement power ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setup of Ventilation Phase Adjustment, see Figure of Phase Split in the Calibration section. The power can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum stroke power. Near frame power ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setting the engine thrust power for Frame Phase, see the Phase Split Figure in the Calibration section The power can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum pulling poweru. Closed holding power ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Performance setting the strength by which SMARWI holds the window in the closed position close to the window frame. The power can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum holding capacity. .. note:: This setting significantly effects the tightness of the window in the closed position. Opened holding power ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Performance setting by which SMARWI holds an open window. The power can be set in the range 0-100, where 100 means maximum holding capacity. Window closed position finetune ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You can fine-tune the parameter effecting the way window snaps close to the frame. As a result SMARWI will increase or decrease the force of the window pressure on the frame and the tightness of the window in the closed position. Use this setting every time the window geometry changes, for example due to temperature or SMARWI position change (long-term use stabilizes the comb and SMARWI positions compared to the initial setting) The value can be set in the range of -20 to +20 while the lower the pressure on the window frame is weaker and vice versa. “Window locked” error trigger ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setting a lock/jam window warning sensitivity (physical locking or jamming on the frame) If SMAWI does not move from Frame Phase to the Ventilation Phase, it considers the window locked or jammed and does not allow another opening attempt to prevent from being damaged. If an error indication occurs even if you are certain that the window is not block and should open, try increasing the value of this parameter to verify that the problem has been fixed. We recommend increasing the value by 2 degrees after a successful test. .. tip:: If the value increase did not solve the problem and you reached the maximum parameter setting values, perform a new calibration of the device. The value can be set in the range 0 - 40. Higher number means less sensitivity to window lock. Maximum open position ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The setting determines the maximum window opening distance from the frame sensor, or the distance to which the window of your window opens. The parameter can be set in the range of 0-100%, in the case of setting to 100%, ventilation opens to the maximum size you set in the calibration. Calibrated distance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A non-editable information field displays the measured distance in steps from the window frame to the maximum ventilation (set during calibration).
